Sore legs and new shelves

We're finally all moved in - but not put away - and our house is now our home once again. There's still a week left on the lease at the duplex, but we haven't slept there in over a week. Moving was a lot of work, but the guys at Katie's work came through again - with minimal damage to the house!

But with living in the new house comes the reality of ... stairs ... Now I know what my dad said about going up and down the stairs all night. My legs are killing me!! I know I'll get used to the Stairmaster workout soon enough, but it was a big surprise the first day or so.

In reality, things are transitioning very well. There are still things left to get done, and lots of little touch ups, but the house is just what I wanted, and just what we need for our....

Growing family -

A few weeks ago, Katie wasn't feeling well, and I just knew that the reason was that she was having a baby. Sure enough, days later we found out that we're adding another wonderful child to our home! We have told a few folks - family and a few close friends / neighbors, but it's not public news yet. We're about 11 weeks along, so there's still plenty of time; but Katie is starting to show the signs, if you know what to look for. And we have not told the boys yet - we'll wait for a few more weeks if we can on that.

For now, we don't know if it will be a brother or a sister, but we do have a name, either way - and I won't tell it until we know. But I know what I'm calling the baby, so as usual, I'm already thinking of what is to come.

Wow - what a time in life!
