I know it's been
quite a while since the last update -- about 6 weeks, in fact! But
we've been kinda busy around here, I guess.
Of course, Porter
is a joy to have around, and Jackson is really becoming a true little
person -- full of energy, joys, and tears when things don't go his
way.
Katie's been
enjoying getting to know Porter and having a bit of time off to spend
with Jackson and Porter both. She's had her hands full a couple of
times, though, when Jackson has been home sick all day, and she's
had to juggle both the new baby, and a sick bigger baby. But she's
pretty good at it.
Last week I went
to Austin to the SXSW Interactive conference, which was pretty good,
just like last year. I picked up some pointers on project management,
wireless development and ideas on user interfacees on the web. It's
not for everyone, but for me, it is one of those 'never miss' events.
I heard this
morning that my uncle David is in the hospital after having surgery
to do 7 bypasses on his heart. Myra says he's still in intensive care,
but should be ok. Hope so.
Anyhow, that's
about it for now. In the coming weeks, we'll be getting Porter baptized
and I'll be having a birthday. I'll try to get back on the weekly
updates, too. Next week, look for some photos of both of the kids,
and probably the azaleas in bloom in the front yard!
