WOW, what a stressful
week! Here it is in 100 words or less:
Back to work
from 5 days off. Hopped a plane. Did my job. Learned the company will
'reorganize'. (It's a good thing.) Said bye to friends. Dealt with
stupidity. Put out fires; controlled the damage. Gave a friend the
boot. Broke my watch. Delayed at the airport. Delayed more. Hopped
a plane back. Tried to relax. Washed clothes. Saw nephew baptized;
ate fajitas. Started book. Packed to do it all again.
Anyway, this
week promises to be just as busy, but hopefully MUCH less stressful.
We go live on our phase one of the Energy Marketing and Trading portal
this week, and I'm planning on cooking a huge batch of jambalaya for
the team on Wednesday night to celebrate.
While I was gone
this week, my order of the 'Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World'
came in and we're really busy planning our trip. We are taking Jackson
for about 5 days in the end of October, and we're really looking forward
to it. Of course, being prepared is the only way to go, so we've done
-- and are still doing -- our homework. As you would expect, we'll
play, eat, run, and generally have fun; a visit to Margaritaville
Orlando is mandatory, too.
That's about
all for now. As usual, J-Bug and Po are growing like wild and each
doing incredible things with their little minds and bodies. The vocabulary
of a child is a wonderful thing. But you knew that, didn't you ==
